There and Here Sept 11

There…and Here, 9/11 Never. In all my days. (I was at work, as a nursery manager, watching over a dozen tots.) On my TV, the meteorologist was exalting the Most Absolute beauty Of the day there in Manhattan. Just as it was here In Kentucky. A truly clear, bright, Sunny blue, Unforgettable day, Just as you always Dream of, wish for. God’s created Perfection. But, then, there, Human-made terror: Two planes Striking into Our tallest, proud Towers…moving Us to screams of fear And pervasive grief. And anger… The worst day of Our lives From there to here. For all the ages. For all ages, It so suddenly Did not matter If the sun was shining. ————————————————— (c) sally young Eslinger (c) 9/10/202 Thanks be to God

Emotively stated; nothing matters without Freedom. Thousands dying, on bright summer days, throughout history, fighting against, or simply trying to escape tyranny. This modern day scum we have given power to, may they burn in hell, even though I know we condemn ourselves by vocalizing such unforgiving bitterness. And I apologize to no one. May God forgive me, if He sees fit...but I will not retract.

I recall that day as thought it were imprinted on my brain, Sally. I, too, am a Kentuckian. Glad to know that. I have learned recently that more first responders have died from ailments as a result of 9/11 than were actually killed that day in the attacks. I don't know whether it is true or not, but terribly disturbing. Good writing, Sally!
