This was inspired by the nationwide marches for gun control reform led by mainly students on March 24 - may their voices lead us!
Their voices overflow, unrestrained, consuming every corner, every coast, swelling with their battle cries
They carry their hopes, memories, promises, agony
held in their warrior eyes
They step into the fight, even bleeding, even battered,
They demand their right
to grow up, their right to tomorrow
They stand without retreat
Their lives torn, splintered, shattered
Their resolve, complete
Young hearts bursting - young pain, severe
Change is not coming
Change is Here.
