The Worthy Engineer
They stormed the enemies gate, over hill and ditch they went,
Their valiant attacks made the enemy quake with fear,
Nowt was said of how they got there with all their gear,
No way could they have done it without the brave engineers,
Under withering fire they built bridges and roads,
So they could move fast, to win, with valiant cheer,
But nowt was said of the Royal Engineer.
