The Void
My body an empty hollow vessel
Your words of love are meant for me
To fill my soul against its doubt
Still the void within rages
Sometimes love is not enough
I struggle for fulfilling sustenance
My heart beats in empty hollow rhythms
Hoping your love as true will lift me up
But still the void within rages
Sometimes love is not enough
Some days my soul's anguish vilipend
I hold your love cradled
To ease my empty hollow despair
But still the void within rages
Sometimes love is not enough
