The Twist

A fabulous dance started in Philadelphia. Around 1960 was when it would occur. Fans of this dance amounted to a plethora. The man who made it famous had a strange moniker. This recording artist’s name was “Chubby Checker” His hit song made it to number one back then. Chubby had a follow-up with “Let’s Twist Again”. Countless times on the radio it would play. “The Twist “was popular with both women and men. People who love nostalgia still dance it today. Robert Pettit for the "Let's Dance" contest
