The Twist
A fabulous dance started in Philadelphia.
Around 1960 was when it would occur.
Fans of this dance amounted to a plethora.
The man who made it famous had a strange moniker.
This recording artist’s name was “Chubby Checker”
His hit song made it to number one back then.
Chubby had a follow-up with “Let’s Twist Again”.
Countless times on the radio it would play.
“The Twist “was popular with both women and men.
People who love nostalgia still dance it today.
