The Swallows

There is beauty I take in as essential as breath a hundred more blue black and white angels sublime moving with the chaos of one these little birds taking my soul with them as they fly about me through me with my own chaos one

Thank you Caren! I love this one. It's based on a real event, the swallows & swifts were feeding right over the long grass section in the dog park, passing us within inches at times, it was otherworldly! xomo

Maureen, I used your swallows in one of my poems, "Two Breaths Away From Love" Your poem brings the grace of these birds into full focus. In rereading your poem, I didn't realize you used the word sublime as well. What a powerful word...Sublime

Sweet! :) Sublime... potent word, love it, the shape of the word produces a smile when mouthed as the second syllable likes to linger.

I enjoy your insights into nature. Swallows are whimsical flyers that seem to never make grave mistakes...I wish my spirit could fly the same.

You captured these creatures beautifully as I see them fly in chaos as well. They're clumsy little things sometimes aren't they! This piece is spot on!

Hello Maureen. Such essence you have captured. I understood your words of incorporating chaos into the mixture and expression and how it flies away with these creatures. Just beautiful in thought and reality. Well done and expressed as this is calming.

I am so happy I managed to translate; the penning of a moment I shall never forget. The swallows and swifts feeding just above the long grass mere inches from me they would pass. Some in the park were freaked out, not me, for me it was absolute bliss. Thank you Lisa xomo
