The Sunrise
Ohbard and Pell meet up
over lifetimes and dimensions
for exchanges and conversations:
Pell to Ohbard, sullenly:
the wanting eats within me
tensing breath and gritting
my wanting is keener than desire
and unsettles trace of rest
I feel it hurt
Ohbard sees:
to want is a driver
but also a destroyer
yet somewhere in the middle
is to strive and contentment
do not upset the balance
Ohbard and Pell continued to watch the sunrise
unseen
