The Sun Shines

Oh, how I love when the sun shines Brightening my day in this special way Making me feel that I can shine too The glimmering leaves flutter in the breeze The grass is painted with delicate shadows Even the dark gray rock is now so bright The warmth spreads with light in the air Time is the essence of it lasting to enjoy Today, it soaks in with ultimate gratitude --- Every moment it shines --- Heidi Sands 7/8/17
