FIRST PLACE

"Scars are the roadmap to the soul." - Metaphor My life has often been a ravaged garden, a long journey weather-stained with tears. Deaths have made my heart and soul harden, but, with great strength I accept the scars and fears. And now, like prayers my angst inside each poem appears.

So well said! Or written I suppose. Without the scars from a full life, it would be difficult to write with such authenticity, sincerity. Your writing always comes across as truth, from your own experiences. Empathy is also evident.. when we've had similar experiences then we can write of things we haven't done with authority. Excellent as usual! Xo
