The Shining Stars

When the sky is dark I look for the star The star that stands out Sometimes a full moon shines Or a quarter moon Shining in the sky Close my eyes to wish On the shining star

Sometimes there is a star in the sky that is extra bright, I first make sure it is not a satelite and if its not Christmas, it is either my mother or father saying 'GOODNIGHT DARLING GIRL, LOVE YOU' Your poem is wonderful. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
