The Secret to Longevity
Ah! myriad scents flood the air all around me
I've surely found the secret to longevity
My skin appears fresh, free of age-marks
On a journey to my youth I embark
I leap the fence ‘round my folks' humble dwelling
My lungs rapidly expanding and swelling
As I shout out with glee,
‘I’m finally free! Hey, world, it’s me!’…
In rapture of ecstasy, I open my eyes
All I can sense are falsehoods and lies
You knew, yes you knew, this couldn’t possibly last
~ Beware of invitations to visit your past
