The Scent of Water
Death was upon the heart I gathered in
And I found my needs had no importance
All that I saw, diminished dreams again
Lost years faded, I'll never reverance
You offered me love to comfort my breath
A welcomed hand stretched to my withdrawal
To heal my world and torment my heart's death
Giving hope to slay the demons I saw
This gift of salvation poured from your heart
To cleanse my spirit from its weathered gray
With scent of water, its beautiful part
Grasping your hand tight, I asked you to stay
You found me dying and near my heart's tomb
Watered my soul, made it flourish and bloom
