The Reasons I Exist
My existence is full of good intentions as well
an aria of good deeds. I seek things that bring
happiness and feed off of the joy of others.
I need not material items nor wealth, just the
freedom of free will in good decision making.
I have but one goal.
To reveal to each and every person I love just
how unbelievably special they are. I have not
always been this way, however. I have seen
the damaging effects of addiction and have
been to hell and back with selfishness and
pride. Through it all I have prevailed through
faith and loyalty from my family and friends.
Writing is so important to me.
It brings me to a place I have always longed
to be near. When I am troubled or surrounded
in anguish, all I have to do is pick up my pen
and journal and I am instantly encompassed
by its healing touch.
Even though I relish in writing, there is nothing
more important than my family. My adoration
for my daughter extends to heaven’s abyss and
back three times over. She is my light in the
darkness, my dream come true. My husband
has loved my unconditionally for twenty- two
years. I also reciprocate those emotions back
respect and honor. They are the lines to my
life, the reason I exist in a life devoid of
loneliness and turmoil.
My purpose is well known to those who I
love. I am astounded in the resounding
effects my faith has had on me for the past
thirty-eight years of my life. I am forever
grateful to God for His remarkable trust in me
to live out my days through His love.
