The Rain and the Wind

It was like the rain… It came down, without warning… Drenched my thoughts with comfort... It was like the wind... It swept away all the doubts and all the fear... When things get gloomy I want to dance in the rain because I know, it will be okay… I want to feel the wind against my cheeks.. ‘Cause then I know you’re nearby... You merged yourself Inside my mind, my body and my soul... I should be scared... I should probably run... My feet feel heavy, I cannot run.. Or maybe it’s just my heart telling me to stick around... Because when it rains and the wind blows that’s when I know you’re nearby… Without doubt And Without fear...

I related so well to this--it is such a comforting piece, Wilma :) This actually appealed to me in a spiritual way too--gotta love the rain and the wind--loved your use of metaphors here...call me weird, but i actually like standing outside during a typhoon, lol
