The Poet and the Poem
I am certain one cannot
separate the poem from
the poet...no such alchemy
existing; not by fusion nor
by fission, can the two be
parted – sort of like, the
death of a beloved other,
heaven never to know peace
till the pair once again united –
For the poet pens with the
hand but writes with his
heart; his soul the essence
of his lyrics; his spirit his
source-library. Each
composition an inner
page, from a greater work
authored and bound with
his God.
