The Perfect Storm
A perfect storm is defined as a particularly violent storm
arising from a rare combination of adverse meteorological factors.*
In a non-meteorological sense, there is a storm brewing,
and I can feel it. I feel it's ominous clouds from many directions. And also, there seems to be a mindset engineered for a collision.
Some Christians are heading for the hills and mountains. Some people are building bunkers, stocked for the duration.
Some elites feel there are simply too many people on earth. Experts predict food and water shortages on a massive scale.
The environmentalists think that the air is too toxic to sustain life.
Hatred, fear, greed, pleasure seekers, power mongers, and the list
continues. It appears that all of mankind is staging themselves for
a cataclysmic showdown. To speak of such things need not cause
one to be labeled as "doom and gloomers".
Is it possible we have boarded a train on an unprecedented down hill course? If so, there is still time for our world to adjust, rearrange, and change tracts to avoid apocalyptic results. We are grateful that the meteorological storms are rare. There is no life without storms. Moreover, there is nothing rare about The Grace of God.
