The Pathway To Eternal Sleep
Death is the pathway to eternal sleep,
where souls slumber in everlasting peace.
Gatherings of friends and family weep
when earthly connections suddenly cease.
And memories cause tear flows to increase
as broken hearts honor the soul's release!
Death is an angel, not an ugly thing;
you'll never feel thirst or hunger again.
And you'll be connected to everything,
instantly erasing all thoughts of pain.
There'll be no anxieties to constrain;
without limits, your soul will have free rein.
You'll simply rise out of your human guise
into a spiritual dimension;
for your soul lives on though your body dies.
Sometimes, souls are a point of contention,
but believe, can overcome dissension,
death is our only means of ascension.
Death's much more than a switch that turns life off,
you need, but believe; let the doubters scoff.
