The Oak Tree

“THE OAK TREE” Everything happen in life has a reason Just as every major event has a season When you think someone is trying to put you down Or drive you to the ground Don’t you disappoint them Just let it be And don’t forget to say Thanks for planting me Way deep down And deeper I will be So deeply rooted You may never move me For the next five hundred years This is where I’ll be A proud spiritual monument For all the world to see God Bless your lovely heart How happy you will be To know the best you’ve ever done Is plant a lovely oak tree Written by Allan Clarke

Tree metaphor is a personal fav, and this one is brilliantly adept with turning human perspective upside down, like giving priority to learning from our root system culture, extending back to our Elder cousin trees. Thanks much for sharing.
