Sheesh I am not a monster like Bela* I’m just a romantic fella But this is no good I see Hollywood Has decided to slam Cinderella Ok, some of you have pointed out my mistake and I acknowledge, I was wrong. It was Snow White and not Cinderella they were slamming. But Snow White doesn't rhyme with fella so... : ) I guess I don't know my fairy tales too well. Regardless it is ridiculous. I know this Limerick sucks but what the hell is going on in this world? I read this morning that some Hollywood star (?) has come to the decision that because Prince Charming kissed Cinderella while she was asleep (under the witches spell) he did so without her permission so this cartoon is sending a bad message to young boys. I mean, what’s next? Bambi, because his little rabbit friend’s name is Thumper and that rhymes with Hump Her? Sheesh. * Bela Lugosi who portrayed Dracula in the movies

Ya know what occurred to me last night? Of course you don't - Prince Charming never kisses a sleeping Cinderella (unless my girly fairy tale memory is broken) - it is Snow White who sleeps the endless sleep until Prince Charming kisses her (a smooch for Pete's sake - no tongue - no lingering or fondling). Had to share. Oh - Cinderella - idiots may destroy due to step-parent abuse! Bambi - guns, on and on and stupid and stupid

Let's see. What IS next, anyway? Probably Walt Disney's name will be expunged from every film he produced, from his theme parks, from his company too---for taking indecent liberties with the imaginations of children (of all ages)… I can just hear Elizabeth Warren and Corey Booker chanting in unison: "Tear down the walls of Disneyland!" What kind of message would it send to young boys if the prince had not kissed Snow White to save her life? Should we not give mouth-to-mouth to resuscitate someone because it could be misconstrued? It's the world that's become sick, not the beloved Disney tales, but considering who really holds the world in his hands, is it any wonder that everything is spinning upside down? Your limerick is eye-opening to society.

IF THIS IS TRUE I WISH TO EXIT THE PLANET IMMEDIATELY and well understand why you needed a word-vent. Just got back from an appointment, my heart full of hurt/need to know who amongst us trashes the earth so - litter is now everywhere, and then, this. Seriously, let me go home .... Good grief, it's just a fictional storybook story. Can't we enjoy fiction anymore? Sounds like someone wanting their 15 minutes of fame. I suppose Prince Charming had a foot fetish and needed to find a good therapist instead of Cinderella.

I saw this too Chris, about Prince Charming kissing Snow White. The message it is sending. Kristen Bell says: “Don’t you think that it’s weird that the prince kisses Snow White without her permission? Because you cannot kiss someone if they’re sleeping!” I agree with you, what is next??? Why are so many trying to stir up something, when there is nothing to stir?? It is very disturbing and frustrating!!! Ughhhh. ~ Brandy

It's sad Brandy and usually I just shake my head and move on. But things seem to be going a bit too far and I just had to speak up because it is just that ridiculous. Someone last week or so said all of us old white men just need to shut up. I think everyone needs to shut up for a while and let's see if things will calm down any...but that thought is just another fairy tale. Thank you my friend.
