The Living Word
Living things can have wings –
some only feet, earthbound
lower to the ground; other
creatures slither, crawl...man
has learned to do them all;
the spider spinning webs
as he fall, like the politician
telling fibs, both small and tall...
if blessed by God
with cords, to rejoice –
those so gifted
let not silence
be your choice –
let not evil
be the loudest
voice....
