The Little Girl and the Little Green Worm- Nursery Rhyme

I once met, A little green worm. I saw it wiggle... I saw it squirm I watched it swing, When then mild wind blew I saw it land... Onto my shoe I watched it crawl, Onto my pants I watched it stand up... And I watched it dance I watched and watched, And it watched me It made me smile... So happily Then, it waved good-bye, As it crawled away And said- "I'll see you tomorrow... If you want to play" Kids Creativity And Learning Poetry Contest Sponsor: Eve Roper 3/10/2023

Oh my goodness, this was darling. Was it an inchworm? They are in children's songs and books I own. Was he "measuring the marigolds" perhaps. I bet he does return Charles, just teach him about hungry robins. :)
