Love how you painted a beautiful picture in my head but how you let the words fall at the end.

I really like this one, Angela, especially the reluctance to let go and the formatting of the last 'line'. Strangely, one of the first Haiku I ever wrote was entitled "The Last Leaf" so I just *had* to read your version!

Like it! I do manage to make a little bit of money at writing. But we poets don't care about money. I do play the lottery and sometimes gamble at casinos and once won $300 on the Kentucky Derby!! Please comment on my last ode Matthew Anish
