The Joy of Autumn
Autumn and there's a subtle change to the air
Warm sweaters needed for chilly mornings
Berry juice dribbling on fingers and chins
A few gray skies bringing winter's warnings..
A time for a walk on a tree lined path
Kicking at golden leaves in childish play
Watching smoke from a farmer's burn
Enjoying each moment of one last fall day...
