I dwell behind a high stone wall
not visible except in my soul, where a
veil of misty haze fills the corridors of my mind, and my
innermost thoughts are silently beautiful and full of weeping.
Some days, I just want to be unseen, prowling and creeping
inside my own head to ponder and contemplate- Oh, I am
but a speck in the vast universe of time, I am
like a fragment detached, floating drifting, swirling
eternally in the deep blue sea of imagination.
Glorious and painful is the aloneness of being
invisible, hidden, withdrawn from life, just
residing behind my stone wall- where I
lift my invisible pen to write poems in invisible ink.
