The Heart Wants

A Sonnet for Laura Mckenzie's contest, romantic longing Longing to be with the one who is fun and charming Longing to be able to live life uninhibited to be loving Searching for the kindred spirit, living Searching to be accepted, by the caring Why do you look away, knowing Why do you, dodge down that path, avoiding I know why, hurting I know why, crying The eyes that look, Lying The heart that shares darkness, unknowing The time has been recalled, leeching Goodness, Joy, meekness, giving Longing to be with the one who is giving, caring and loving Longing to care, who is hurting

That spot inside all of us Doris, the spot that is simply unfulfilled with that special kind of love that we are all made of. The soul of Unity, Love, Life, Respect, Honesty, Justice, and Kindness. Awesome write Doris, Sincerely, Love, Moses
