The Hawk
Above me soars my Spirit Guide
it scans the light draped sky
as it glides through the firmament
in answered prayer, the Hawk is God's reply
This bird of prey sent in peace
is tethered to my soul
troubles wash away from me
this totem cleansed me from their control
This Ancient sign, this peaceful bliss
a sacred gift to guide,
from shaded realms of darkest dire
above my head, you glide
