The Gift of June
The month of June delivers summer heat
that deepens beauty of pale springtime green.
With thicker foliage, the treetops meet
to add their lavish fullness to the scene.
And velvet lawns of green spread out to greet
the edge of clear blue skies with soft gold sheen.
With warmth from rays of summer sun, we find
June's blissful blend of harmonies defined.
