Michelle, love your wordplay in the title, not to mention your usual array of delectable phrasing ("fair freckled sky" and "sticky glazed humidity" to name two favorites). Yes, eventually the heat wears us down and we long for Fall, but one could argue that each season has its down side, and the heart is prone to yearn for whatever comes next. He I think knew that 3 months for each season was more than enough, He knows about all the kids and as we grow into adults .
