Those orbs of color dotted black inside. With horror or amazement, large they grow, and sometimes with delight they open wide as lashes lush and long perhaps they show. At times your orbs look up; another pair is looking back as if to smile at you! They might be nearly onyx; they might be fair - a gray or green or lovely hue of blue. Their color does not matter; in the eye of the beholder is where beauty lies. Perhaps the one beholding you will sigh. Will love soon brightly shine forth from those eyes? Sweet it is to gaze at someone knowing the eyes have it, and they now are glowing! July 10, 2017 for The Eyes Have It Contest of Daniel Turner

Congratulations Andrea on your placement in my contest. The third stanza stood out the most for me. "The color does not matter; in the eye of the beholder is where beauty lies" This is so true. Thank you for your participation in my contest:)
