72-million went to church To complain God left Trump in the lurch But the angels there Sang, "You have no prayer! Wearing the Red just earns you the birch!"

I'm guessing "the birch" is a whipping stick?? I don't think God left Trump in the lurch. He lost because of his own failings. Still, Trump's campaign keeps calling my home looking for "donations" even after the election has ended. Let him pay his own campaign debts; I won't be fooled by his antics. Well said, Rico! I did not realise young people today have not felt the birch, a "whipping stick" previously used in churches and schools. I suppose they can not relate to Satan being red, to the GOP being red, nor the red tie and hat favoured by Trump, so I must be too old to write limericks! Meanwhile, the flimflam man will continue to loot the Treasury and to solicit donations as greed is never satisfied! Take care! Aloha! Rico
