I really like this a lot Barbara. Don't sell it short. I know we are our harshest critics.

WHAT?? you think this is not good haiku? Gosh, I love this one and I am pretty critical on haiku written poorly. It may not be perfect but I just love the sound of it!!! So cool, Barbara. I will have to revisit the contest to see how you placed. My silly entry got third. Congrats.

Yes, and in perfect 575. Love the thousand butterflies as leaves. In the summer I often have wonderful thoughts on the leaves in the breeze. Love, daver

Do not downgrade yourself, Barbara; to me this is a lovely haiku in which the visual and movement take central stage. Well done! hugs // paul

Dear LNC, I beg to differ. To me this is the perfect haiku! It creates a delightful image of nature that makes me smile. I don't like to study haiku. I just like to read ones that catch my attention and this is certainly one of those! Love you, Carolyn
