Like laughter from a child
Sends a feeling to relish, a light
Into the heart who knows
Their innocent love overflows
With joy, peace and wonder
Feelings that live in spite of fear
Doubt and darkness
Freeing minds from the clouds
Even as the rain falls all around
Like the breath of inspiration
Glowing, alive as the chance being taken
The music of hope, faith and grace
Silencing the shadows
Coloring in hues of golden sunlight
Whispering kindness, warmth
A healing that reflects the belief
Brought alive by sincerity, faith
Like a memory of first love
Dancing on dreams, spontaneous
Honest like the first kiss
It is gentle and such sweet bliss
Igniting beauty in the spirit
Where a blend of cool, crisp autumn
Wrapped around the edges of summer
Grows soft, like the sand
Between your toes, tempting you
To listen to the sigh that thrives
On joy, brilliant and amazing
Like a carefully spoken prayer
Like silent shouts
So vivid and so loud
Rustling on the soul
Where desire grows warm
Kindles a flame of graceful
Tangerine promises
Flaming purple praises
In visions of vibrant sapphire
On wings of loving lilac
Yet, none can compare
To the flawless frosted purity
Of the beautiful hope
