The Cat
Sleek and soft,
with mighty..., fierce claws.
Not a friend to birds,
of any kind.
Mischievous, carnivorous,
and a wanderer of the dark.
Yet they are not evil,
but natural.
Playful and sweet,
a kitten is a treat,
that will attack your feet.
Best beware...
Owner of humans,
leader's of the pack...
Sophisticated,
and related; to the lion, the tiger,
and fighters of days gone by.
Climbing trees,
catching mice,
making the mailman..., think twice.
Moody and lawful,
in a chaotic fashion,
that will leave you adoring
their love of life and passion.
