The Brother Who Gave
He is the brother who gave
What did he give you ask
The gift he gave,
the life of his mother he helped save
He had a pair,
and he parted with one
Again, his mother's life
he helped spare
He was a most generous son
Oh yes, God put it in his heart
to do this pure and noble thing
Making yourself half a person,
makes your soul whole and clean
As a boy, he had a dream,
it was a powerful premonition
Are you kidding me, a kidney?
When it came to pass, we thanked God
for giving our brother this vision
He is the brother who gave
