The Box
Outside the box:
People frantic to find a way into the box
Surely in the box they will find great fortune
New home, jazzy car, private schools
Admiration, clout, exotic places..fine wine
Country clubs.. .THE Great LIFE
In the box:
People trying to find a way out of the box
Work weekends., home at 9, Kids, what kids?
Deadlines, blood pressure, Rolaids, airports,
Taxes. Wife lonesome (how lonesome?)
anxiety..commute.. NO LIFE
No Box:
Honest work, family, good food, friends
Soccer Saturdays, dogs, quiet times,
holding hands. Ice cream, nature,
Sleeping soundly Just LIfe
