beautiful thoughts, I gave mine up five years ago when we moved to a subdivision that as yet has few trees. But there's hope, some are being planted. I go by the old homeplace often to check on "my" tree. A great monoku.

I moved a year ago and left behind my cherry blossom tree, which the new owners pulled out. Cherry blossom is a fleeting joy you wait for but worth it. There was a long line of trees on my morning commute that were beautiful to watch with changing seasons. I can still drive that way and I think next year I might purchase a cherry blossom tree I can watch grow.
