The Beggar

an invisible weight on his back his provisions all in a sack Had he ever paused to sing a song as he made his rounds begging life long

Really very sad especially when it is any religious holiday, and we have plenty and they are empty! Such a crying shame. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

It does seem so overwhelming with all the beggars at every street corner (in Chicago, anyway). I guess the way is to start with one. Help one. One at a time. :) gw

His provisions on his sack and his burdens on his back.... ! Gershon, you have drawn a sad picture. But still he might sing! He must have enjoyed life at some points

Someone who can still sing is far from hopeless. At least, that's what my shower stall told me. :)

The joy of life, can be itself blessing enough to sing. We all have something of value to offer: as I have been told, God provides for even the birds, but He does not throw seed in their nests. Excellent write!

Interesting what you wrote: It seems that God brings food to baby crows, whose parents abandon them at birth. See Psalm 147 for evidence of same. Season's best, gw

When we get to the 'World of Truth,' the roles will be reversed. 'The first ones now will later be last,' as Bob Dylan once wrote and sang it. :) gw
