The Back Porch
I love sitting on the back porch, a cool and peaceful breeze covers me. In my rocking chair I will sit for hours, remembering the days gone by. Rocking for hours listening to the calm, then the birds stopped by and serenaded me. Today has ended off to bed I will go, I will dream of the quiet time from the back porch A new day arises, off to my rocking chair on the back porch. As I read my journal, a tranquil spell covers me. I become still, as I read about our love. I can remember our first kiss, a kiss that did last. So serene it was, young love just starting to awaken from childhood. I love sitting on the back porch, a cool and relaxing breeze covers me.
