Forgiveness means accepting what happened as it happened. Forgiveness means being done with pride, ego, and self-pity. Forgiveness means letting it go. Forgiveness means loving from a distance. Forgiveness means knowing the past offers no repast. Forgiveness means stepping into your present. Forgiveness means mastering the art of being soft and humble. Forgiveness means discovering a serenity never known before.
