Thanksgiving Breath
“Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD…”
Psalm 150:6 of the King James Bible
For the gift of life with freedom bliss
my heart does breathe out gratitude praise
with jubilant whisper soul can’t miss
“Thanks, God,” while by faith, I see His gaze.
With assured eternal life divine
my spirit can’t but utter, “I’m blest…”
thanking the Lord for wondrous design
reigning against despair sigh from test.
Thus, I pray that gratefulness grips me
even in every gasp of delight
enabling my service, propped by glee
surmounting angst murmur and loss-plight.
