Thankful
I’m thankful for green grass and trees,
birds’ songs that carry on the breeze,
and so much more that I adore.
Green grass and trees I’m thankful for.
With gratitude my soul is filled.
The magic hour I see sun gild
the hills - in that sweet interlude -
my soul is filled with gratitude.
In pleasing things God’s grace I see.
How lovely is the world to me.
While living here, my spirit sings -
God’s grace I see in pleasing things!
