Tenor In The Sky

The black cloud

Sounding like a herd of buffalo rampaging through a valley.
In its...
!
.
deep... DARK,

trembling tenor voice...

It spoke-

Thunder!

Dear Charles, hearing the sound of thunder, while rain dances with such force; is somewhat poetic. I agree, a loud *boom* out of no where, will make you jump out of your skin. This is so beautifully written and presented. Congratulations my sweet friend, on Poem of the Day. My best to you. :) Hugs, Brandy

Good imagery, Charles...although I think of a black storm cloud as more of a "basso profundo". Congrats on POTD, as well.
