The bible is my favorite, and the greatest book humanity has ever produced. I believe, a spiritual work inspired by God. Thank you, Si; blessings my friend.

You are right, many fool us with the play of language though there is nothing new or informative. But to be frank, I like to read anything written in beautiful language. As you say the Bible, I too feel is the best book ever written. It has stood the test of time and is relevant to all generations... the Book of Life. There is solace in the silent hours we share with God. Beautifully articulated wisdom, dear Joe.

Wonderful selection for your title, Joe. The poem is filled with wisdom and insight, but your last verse is what resonates with me most. I believe the Bible is the greatest book ever written. It helps us to understand how it is possible to find the Spirit of God within each of us. The knowing we can experience in that tender silence is the precious opportunity to be in the presence of God, (this could be what heaven is). ... being in the presence of the Creator God for eternity. Thank you for your very wise and inspiring comment. Lots to ponder. I remind myself often, that if I have to give myself many reasons for doing something...it is probably wrong. We just know when right. God is God, always.
