Tell It Like It Is
"Before you speak a truth ask yourself: it is kind,
is it necessary, is it true, will it make a difference. "
Quote - by Constance
I really believe
in honesty and being truthful;
like saying so sorry to those that grieve,
but, sometime the truth is brutal.
Sometimes . . . I must tell it like it is- to myself,
though, to hurt a soul when it does not matter . . . I stop self;
I put those words on a shelf.
My mother asked, "will I die . . .?
I kept the truth and said, "no, mom don't cry,"
and if I do tell, I do it with the kindest words I can weave.
