There is something mesmerizing about the Weeping Willow. The way the branches linger low, as leaves sway to and fro. Actually, it very comforting being underneath its shade. As Summer waves goodbye, I smile knowing that I have embraced each moment. This is so beautiful and tender my dear friend. :) Brandy

A beautiful sonnet, John. I love the thought of the weeping willow's yellow leaves falling to earth. There were many of these trees where I grew up and they have always seemed special to me. Best wishes in the contest! Hugs, carolyn

Thank you, Sandy, I always hate to see the summer end as well. That goes all the way back to when I was a kid. But...the start of fall means the start of football. :). Hugs, John
