Taxing Times

I pay the tax you keep billing Although very poor I am willing Collective we are rich Alone down to the last stitch A part of this cull of one’s last shilling. Our tax is outrageous Our politicians umbrageous Like one step forward Then two steps backward Is being honest disadvantageous?
