~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You are a tree, and each leaf is a thought, a word to describe how you are feeling. But there are too many leaves and fall has come and gone. So you stand looking to the sky and asking why you must feel so much. But if you look around, you will find there are many other trees with many more leaves. You must let go of the ache and place a gentle hand on your heavy heart. Take solace in how much you've grown. Remember you're not alone.
deep roots, strong branches reaching upward and growing take root as they do
Sara, your poem is a masterful exploration of metaphor, beautifully illustrating the idea that humans should strive to emulate the deep-rooted strength and resilience of trees.
I like you train of thought, Sotto. We humans would do well to learn lessons from trees! Appreciate your visit today. Enjoy your evening, Sara
Thank is an amazing tree in the picture and I am wondering what species. I like your metaphoric work about how we as humans should be like the trees with deep roots growing strong. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K
