Sweet Ponderings

Trees they sway, and rivers they flow- Bees they buzz, and roots they grow- Storms they rage, and boats they row- So why on earth did you have to go? On my way to the shores I saw you in black, Dressed for a funeral with a lacy overlay- I needed you then, you turned your back, So now what am I supposed to say? Clouds they swirl, and birds they sing- Candles they burn, and melodies they ring- Stairs they climb, and lies they sting- So why won’t you tell me anything? On my way to the cottage I saw you in white, Dressed for a wedding with a lacy overlay- You smiled so big and shined so bright, So why on earth did you go away? September 30, 2016

Ah, answer this one, and you will sell a billion copies. For the heart is an open book, to freely see, read and advance to love...but it cannot be closed. Really--borders, all of them, are imagined. We stay within them when desire peaks, to becomes boringly comfortable. The secret is personal growth. Then you are always new and exciting--even to those who have know you in spirit for an eternity.

This may be my LuLoo favorite. I love the construction, the design, the content which could easily be a song and the creativity which both obscures and brightens painful confusion. 7 ... CayCay
