Superior yet with less eyes and no sticky feet
It's funny how we can see spider's webs
Pity those flies with their five eyes missing them
Yet never reflecting on the fact we have only two eyes
Of course we wouldn't get caught in them
We are just too smart
But what is a web?
How do silken strands ensnare?
When it's all over it makes sense
If your brain hasn't been liquidised of course
I pity us, little experiments that we are
Never appreciating the days we fly free
Is it possible to never get tangled up?
I have strong forward motion
Keep kicking off the binds
But I haven't figured it out yet
Insides turning to mush
So so soothing
I mean, we sign up for that
There's more to be said
But I've just lost my thread
