Sunset

The stress of the day fades to a sigh As the day begins to surrender The sky changes color to comply Gathering sunset's splendor A feeling of relief comes over me As the worries of the day depart a weight is lifted to set me free With possibilities to impart The sky boasts hues of tangerine As the glorious sun descends Purple clouds enhance the scene As the sea shimmers in golden blends

As the sea shimmers in golden bends, i love the way this flows and the imagery. This is exactly how anyone would feel i guess during this beautiful hour when sun bids farewell. I can resonate strongly especially with “ the stress of the day fades to a sigh” “a feeling of relief comes over me” ah and the best are mauve sunsets, loved this one! Soothing and calming.
